About Us

CollegeCanvas is a student-run website that offers local artists an opportunity to gain exposure and gives customers the ability to decorate their space in a creative way. CollegeCanvas was founded by three juniors at Brown University- Joe Lace, Mike Frederickson, and John Harroff- in the fall of 2005 and is incorporated in the state of Rhode Island.

Why College Canvas

We all become tired of seeing cliché decorations in dorm rooms. We realized that there are many talented student artists in the Providence area that are looking for a chance to gain exposure. Furthermore, there are many students like ourselves who are looking to own cool, original artwork! Spend some time browsing the art on the site. Think of it as a dynamic, digital, and local art show.
